Imperial Guitar & Soundworks started in 1976 as Rainbow Music by Bill Imperial with a fundamental love of music and instruments and a vision of helping talented musicians sound the best they could be while playing out. He has been serving the musical community for over 40 years. In 1992, he made Imperial Guitar & Soundworks official.

The focus on worldwide sales of new, used and vintage instruments began around 1979. With the help of the internet, it has since grown to a full service instruments, amps, effects, accessories, repair and Pro Audio store based in Ulster county in the Hudson Valley of New York. We have always done our best to make it easy and fun to shop with us.

Old-fashioned customer service and deep product knowledge make us a leader in the buying, selling and trading of used and vintage equipment.
